Dr. Tacita Robertson
N.D. FAARM, AHAAP
I desire to assist you in living a happy, healthy, and vibrant life that exceeds your greatest expectations. Aging is not about a number, but rather longevity and quality of life. Medicine needs to be intelligent, with purpose and geared to the individual – not the masses. I want to help you reach your optimal health so that you can tackle life with energy, balance, and passion!
My own health struggles and frustration with the typical medical model has led me to specialize in anti-aging and regenerative medicine. I believe that the new model of medicine calls us to look at the cause of your health problems. My purpose as your physician is to not only relieve your symptoms, but heal your body (and thus disease) with effective, customized care. I offer a combination of traditional naturopathic treatments along with the latest evidence based approaches being offered around the world. I am continually training and researching so that I can offer safe and effective healthcare.
Educational Background
Dr. Robertson began her health education in 2000 at Southern Cross University in Australia, where she graduated with a four year Bachelor of Science in Naturopathy. She continued her studies at the esteemed Bastyr University in Seattle, earning a doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine. Dr. Robertson has chosen to focus her career on helping people age gracefully and beautifully. She is one of a few board certified Anti-Aging Specialists in the state of Washington, having completed over 200 hours of specialized training through the American Academy for Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine (A4M). Many physicians claim to be experts in anti-aging but do not have the proper specialized training. Dr. Robertson’s unique education allows her to combine naturopathic medicine with cutting edge laboratory testing and very effective evidence-based treatments.
When Dr. Robertson is not busy seeing patients, she enjoys kickboxing, boxing, hiking, and snowboarding. She is the mother of two young twins who constantly entertain her and keep her on her toes. Dr. Robertson looks forward to meeting you and assisting you in reaching your health goals!

Why See a Functional Medicine Specialist
Dr. Tacita seeks to find the causes of chronic disease, as opposed to treating the symptoms. Functional medicine addresses each person individually.

Understanding Functional Medicine
Functional medicine is an individualized, patient-centered, approach that empowers patients and practitioners to work together to treat the underlying causes of dis-ease and promote optimal wellness. It requires a detailed understanding of each patient’s genetic, biochemical, and lifestyle factors and leverages that data to direct personalized treatment plans that lead to excellent patient outcomes. Dr. Tacita will listen to you and assist you in attaining your optimal health now and in the years to come.

Committing To Your Health
By addressing root cause, rather than symptoms, your physician aims to identify the complexity of dis-ease as it relates to you. No two individuals with the same health issues are treated exactly the same. The paradigm of health is shifting towards intentional care that is individualized. This may include herbal medicine, nutrition, fitness, medication, mindfulness, and other lifestyle modifications.

Functional Medicine Visit
Get ready to be heard by a physician that cares about you and is not driven by insurance companies, the pharmaceutical industry, or other factors that conflict with your wellbeing.
